Detailed Tour Itinerary
Deligth of craft beers in quito starts at 6:45 PM approximately with the collection of our users from your hotel. The first stop of this adventure is the Plaza de San Blas, the port of entry to historic Quito. From here, we will take a short walk to the first pub located in a traditional neighborhood full of colors and art where we will have a beer tasting, guided by a specialized brewer, who using your five senses will make you discover what are the local flavors of beer artisanal.
Then, after a short walk exploring the beautiful streets of historic Quito, we will reach our second stop, a pub located in another traditional area of the wonderful old town, where we will delve into the pleasures of drinking beer through different activities. Return to the pick-up point follows these activities.

A quick internet search found a few small craft breweries that are worth visiting during your stay. Bandido Brewing is a great little place with an old historic feel. They offer a 4 beer flight which made it easy to taste a few of their beers. They had four standard beers and two seasonals. Another option is The Turtle’s Head, located a mile or two from the center plaza area. They had about 6-8 of their own beers on tap. The beer was good, some very good.
