Manila Foods and Beverages Expo: Connecting the F&B Industry Through Physical and Digital Spaces
Worldbex Services International (WSI), the organizer behind the Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX), is set to launch a series of activities to address the challenges and changes in the food and beverage trade environment. To revitalize the burgeoning Filipino culinary scene, MAFBEX Wired aims to bring its expertise in connecting and supporting brands, associations, professionals, and entrepreneurs into the digital space. This campaign can still equip exhibitors and businesses in the industry with relevant information and potentially garner new operational skills that can help them address certain business challenges they face.
The Evolution of MAFBEX Events
MAFBEX Wired will introduce a spin-off from the familiar MAFBEX activities to the online community while keeping its core and reputation which has been built over the years. Managing Director of WSI Jill Ang stated, “Our WIRED series will still keep the core of our physical events but we understand that this is now a game of adaptability and accessibility.” Furthermore, the 16th edition of MAFBEX will be a hybrid event with the online activities leading to the on-ground activities at World Trade Center. It is WSI’s ultimate goal to merge two spaces, physical and digital, to give everyone the best support and exposure they can possibly offer.
Event Highlights and Digital Content
The campaign will be featuring four exciting and informative event highlights designed to provide new information to stakeholders:
- MAFBEX Talks: This activity will present topics that will be a good source of information which can serve as a valuable reference and insight to its stakeholders and followers, ranging from e-commerce, digital marketing, food sustainability, and food safety.
- MAFBEX Basics: This will feature how-to’s in a short creative idea format, such as a step-by-step guide, an explainer, or a trivial list that aims to provide a quick and engaging reference for the community.
- MAFBEX Cooks: Introducing a series of content featuring some of the country’s most well-renowned chefs, MAFBEX Cooks will give us the chefs’ best interpretation of restaurant-grade dishes that can be done at home.
- MAFBEX Mixed: World-class talent from the local craft cocktail community will demonstrate how to prepare their original drinks to spice up your chill weekend nights at the comfort of your own space.
