Artisanal Chocolate Tastings and Craft Chocolate Events
Chocolate Noise is a woman-owned social enterprise obsessed with bean-to-bar chocolate. We lead personalized team-building chocolate tastings where guests learn everything from how to taste artisanal chocolate like an expert to how transparent trade works to how to pair fine chocolate with fine wine. Our chocolate sommeliers have over 30 years’ collective experience in the chocolate world, studying the cocoa supply chain, working at some of the best artisanal chocolate companies in the world, and judging bean-to-bar chocolate competitions. We work closely with the craft chocolate community in the U.S. and in cacao-growing regions, sharing profits and contributing to social justice projects across the world.

Collaborative Workshops and Regional Spotlights
Beyond standard corporate events, tasting platform Served Manila has collaborated with Treena Tecson of True Chocolate PH to explore Philippine craft chocolates. Tecson is a Certified IICCT Level 1 & 2 Chocolate Taster and the chocolatier behind True Chocolate PH. Through the workshop, participants will learn the essentials of what to look for, how to properly taste and appreciate craft chocolates.
The tasting will use four of the best local brands that are gaining recognition locally and abroad:
- Auro
- Malagos
- Risa
- Theo & Philo
The tasting kit includes chocolates from these brands plus a mini cup, full cream milk, crackers, teaspoon, tasting sheet and goodies from Cacao Culture as well as Tableá Chocolate.
Socially Conscious Chocolate and Ethical Gifting
The chocolate industry is notorious for issues related to sourcing, labor, and the environment. However, many organizations are dedicated to cleaning up the cocoa industry. Askinosie is known not only for its high quality-chocolate and bean-to-bar methods, but for treating its farmers in Ecuador, Tanzania, Honduras, and the Philippines as business partners and including them in profit sharing. Similarly, Amsterdam-based Tony’s Chocolonely is dedicated to its mission to end slavery. Its fun flavors like milk caramel sea salt and dark pecan coconut are begging to be gifted, and the limited edition holiday bar features a milk chocolate base infused with mulled wine spices.
