Event Coordination and Emceeing for Barangay Fiestas and Veterans Day Tributes
The document summarizes the events of a barangay fiesta celebration in Maigpa, Bayambang, and highlights speeches given by local government officials. Yearly, we are always celebrating our barangay fiesta to commemorate each and everyone’s effort, and participation in making this community a place of hope, peace, and order.
The 2023 Maigpa Barangay Fiesta
Welcome to the 2023 MAIGPA BARANGAY FIESTA with the theme, “LIKET TAN PANKAKASAKEY BISKEG ED ALIGUAS NA BARANGAY”. Of course, the highest purpose of them all is that we are expressing our gratitude to our Almighty God and to our patron Our Lady of LA Consolacion as we once again have bountiful harvest in the great crops we have here. Indeed, since, Maigpa is one of the seventy-seven barangays of our town Bayambang, it can be considered as one of the Onion and Corn Capital of the Municipality because of its abundance with the said crops.
As we bounce back after struggling for how many years because of the pandemic, tonight is the manifestation of what kind of success we can achieve despite what happened years ago. It is so impressive to think that we still managed to be here as one family united by strong faith and much love. Without any further ado, let’s begin the celebration with a blast!
Ceremonial Sequence and Protocol
At this juncture, may I request everyone to please all rise as we honor, glory and ask guidance to our Almighty God with an opening prayer. Please remain standing as we pay tribute to our National Flag through the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be led by Ma’am Filipinas Rodrigazo, Teacher III, Maigpa Elementary School. First and foremost, thank you to the members of the working committee who spent many long hours planning this day and to the many others that have helped to organize and plan this very important event. Your collaborative effort is very much appreciated.

Standard Program for Emcee “Honor a Veteran”
The emcee begins the program by welcoming everyone and asking everyone to “please rise for the Presentation of Colors and National Anthem.” As soon as the Colors are in posted, and the Honor Guard are at attention, the National Anthem should begin. Following the National Anthem the emcee asks everyone to be seated and thanks the Honor Guard and the band. Next, students lead the Pledge of Allegiance. If there is music, the emcee introduces the performers and the director.

The relationship to the student is also acknowledged if known.
Following the reading of ALL the names of veterans the students want to acknowledge, then the participating teacher’s veteran names are read.
