Leveraging Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Immersive Experiences
WE CREATE AMAZING XR. eXtended Reality (XR) is the most immersive way to create engagement with your target users, and you can leverage the power of XR and AI to get your own immersive XR experience. eXtended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term that covers both Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR). We utilize the latest technology and AI to create these experiences, this is done using Unreal Engine 5 and Unity Game Engine.
Defining AR, VR, and Immersive Mediums
Augmented Reality (AR) is a medium where you use a device like a phone or smart glasses and it lets you bring the digital world to the physical world. It is an awesome way to engage with your user base, ranging from schools and fashion to medicine and even training of new employees. In contrast, Virtual Reality (VR) is a portal to immersive digital world using a headset, where you get to interact with objects using hand controllers similar to a game controller. Using this medium, the final product can be sold before the actual foundations are set, whether for brand activations or selling a house off-plan.
Key XR Services and Solutions
- Edu-tainment: By mixing education and entertainment, you get Edu-tainment; basically, we get to gamify class content that can be played by students in XR.
- 3D Animations and Motion Graphics: 3D motion graphics and animations can be used to create an engaging way of presenting your products to your clients and customers. A custom animated character that voices your marketing strategy is the way to go in this new realm of the digital space.
- World Building - Metaverse: The internet can be a very social place once you have a place to go to. We can build a space on the Metaverse, for example Spatial or EngageXR, where you can have an event or even a meeting or conference call.
- Product Visualizations: Showcase your vision to your clients in rich 3D renders that convey depths and different perspectives, or make it even better—make it immersive.
Case Studies and Notable Projects
We have examples all over as we are just getting started. In 2019, we had the chance to work with Young Scientists Kenya (YSK) on a nationwide outreach where we got to showcase the XR technology to students and schools from all over the country. Additionally, during the Nairobi Design Week 2022, the assignment was to make a VR experience that embodies all the various artists showcasing at the event and add some immersive magic into it!
Other significant projects include the Rangi Art Gallery, which was an in-house project to showcase the work of artists from Nairobi on an online platform in the Metaverse. The 2021 Kraal AR Museum Project at the national museum in Nairobi translated art pieces to AR for the public, while the Sogallo AR project allowed users to visualize line art in 3D space using ARKit where you can actually walk around the artwork.
