H1 2024 Financial Performance and Growth
J&T Global Express Limited announced its 2024 interim results for the first half of 2024, showing significant growth. In the first half of the year, J&T’s revenue reached US$4.86 billion, representing a year-over-year increase of 20.6%. Revenue of its core business, express delivery services, reached US$4.74 billion, marking a YoY increase of 33.7%. During the Period, J&T’s total parcel volume increased by 38.3% YoY to 11.01 billion. Gross profit showed a YoY increase of 176.8% to US$540 million.

In Southeast Asia, parcel volume increased by 42% YoY to 2.04 billion, raising its market share to 27.4%. In China, parcel volume grew by 37% to 8.84 billion, while in newer markets such as Saudi Arabia and Mexico, parcel volume surged approximately 64% to 140 million.
Service Expansion: J&T Bulky and J&T COD Next Day
To meet evolving customer needs, J&T Express enhances package delivery with the launch of “J&T Bulky” and “J&T COD Next Day”. As Mrs. Lily Chen, Chief Marketing Officer of J&T Express Thailand, mentioned, “Today’s consumers online shopping behavior isn’t limited to small items.”
- J&T Bulky: Provides delivery services for packages with a maximum weight of up to 100 kilograms, with dimensions not exceeding 200 centimeters on either side. It serves large-scale trading needs with comprehensive service standards covering all areas throughout Thailand for all 365 days a year.
- J&T COD Next Day: This service addresses the needs for more convenient parcel sending and receiving for walk-in and VIP customers. J&T Express offers a special 2.4% on COD service fees, from the original 3%, and any payment will be processed on the next day after the recipient signs for the parcel.
Technological Advancement with J&T Cargo
Under J&T Group, a new brand called J&T Cargo has been introduced as a technology-based logistics company. J&T Cargo is committed to building a smart logistics platform to cater to markets by intelligent and technological transport methods. J&T Cargo will be focusing on 20kg above large parcel delivery service and distribution business, primarily serving the industry of agriculture, manufacturing, processing, and commercial enterprises. Through the JFS system, independently researched and developed by J&T, the company provides customers with intelligent, digital, and visualization logistics services.
Operations in the Philippines and Community Integration
In the Philippines, J&T Express continues to embody its care culture and Bayanihan spirit. The company continued to grow its services with the introduction of J&T Home, opening in small communities such as sari-sari stores, small shops, and kiosks, where a customer can drop a parcel for delivery. This new venture also contributed to J&T’s expansion, with more than 2,500 branches and warehouses in the country to date.
