Barista NC II Training Program at TESDA Women's Center
Course Description: This course consists of competencies that a person must achieve in the deliverance of good quality coffee in commercially-operated cafes or specialty coffee shops. This course is specific to a person who specializes in making coffee beverages.
Goal of the Training
Goal: To educate and produce 125 globally competitive barista with passion for environmental consciousness, sustainability, gender equality and innovative skilled workforce by the end of 2025.
Program Objectives
The primary objectives of the Barista NC II course include the following:
- Enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of trainees of Barista NC II to become gender-fair and globally competitive barista and coffee shop owners;
- Instill environmental awareness by integrating 21st century skills and Green TVET practices and sustainability in the delivery of competency-based training;
- Promote the value of innovation, support women's empowerment and;
- Produce a least 125 certified and job-ready graduates.
