Painting The Sacred Within: Exploration, Self Discovery & Finding Your Voice Through Painting is a complete painting immersion, with lessons to transform your painting practice and keep you painting for a whole year! This immersive painting journey for the beginning & intermediate painter is taught by professional artists, friends and frequent collaborators Faith Evans-Sills and Mati Rose McDonough.
The Painting the Sacred Within Online Experience
Our Painting the Sacred Within Online Workshop Bundle contains 12 Classes. In designing the Painting the Sacred Within experience, we took a long look at our own ways of developing successful paintings, breaking down our personal processes into strong painting themes. Faith & Mati developed these lessons into an Online Painting Workshop Bundle that contains over a year's worth of painting content. Each class focuses on a different painting topic that we’ll dive into deeply through fresh start to finish painting demos, inspirational content and peeks into our studios.

Cruise and Create: Painting on the High Seas
On the first sea day of a transatlantic voyage, Holland America Line’s ms Rotterdam offered an art class where you would paint in the style of Van Gogh. It’s done through the cruise line’s partnership with Painting to Gogh, which is an at-home painting course (or on a ship). The two-hour lesson was taught in the Explorations Café and cost $25 per person. The charge covered everything you would need to create your own masterpiece, including the canvas, brushes, paint and someone to guide you through the artistic process!
For the project we were working on, which was Van Gogh’s Fireflies piece, we had three brushes and seven different colors of paint. Our instructor walked us through what would happen before we even started, giving us a good idea of what to expect. As the teacher was explaining the process, she was accompanied by a video — shown on a large screen — in which an artist was seen using the techniques being discussed.

This includes the "Q Class Shimmer" painting which is part of the sailboat paintings collections we have.
