Program Flow and Script for Graduation and Moving Up Ceremonies

Moving Up Ceremony is a time of completion, of finishing, of an ending, however, it is also a time of celebration of achievement and a beginning for the new completers. Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. The beautiful thing about learning is that, no one can take it away from you.

Significance of the Achievement

Graduation Day is always a day of rejoicing, for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and the commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of mans’ quest for a better life and future. Truly, today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge: knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and take on challenges with clear vision and purpose.

The Processional and Entrance of Colors

To start with today’s culmination, ladies and gentlemen, the Processional. Let us all stand and behold the handsome and gorgeous members of the graduating class together with their parents. Friends, let us witness the parade of colors headed by the Corps of Cadets. Let us also welcome the pillars of this institution, the faculty and staff, together with the school principal and the stakeholders in education.

National Anthem and Invocation

Let us show our deference by standing still as we sing the National Anthem. To bless this momentous occasion, please remain standing as we seek Divine Intervention. May we lead all in a prayer. You may now be seated.

Presentation and Confirmation of Completers

And now the most significant moment in the ceremony has come. May we call on the School Principal for the presentation of candidates for JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION. This is to be followed by the acceptance and confirmation of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETERS. Let us give our utmost felicitation to the Completers of Batch 2015-2016.

Awarding of Medals and Certificates

After four years of hard work and dedication, completers, it is about time to reward your commitment towards education. Reap the fruits of your labor. The most awaited moment, the fruit of hard work and discipline will finally be earned. We proceed to the distribution of certificates to the graduates and the awarding of medals and certificates of recognition to the completers with distinction and special awards.
