Private and Corporate Tea Tasting Experiences
There's nothing quite like the cozy feeling of sitting around a tea table together. We believe that the best way to enjoy good tea is with good company. That's why our core mission is to bring people together to experience beauty in a cup. We offer a variety of tea experiences for private and corporate events:
In-person Tea Tastings
Although we are still putting a few finishing touches on our new space before opening it to the public, we are pleased to start offering private tea tastings and classes at our new tea room at Kendall Square. Our 2-hour private tea tastings feature a rotating selection of vintage-specific, direct-sourced single-origin teas. Each session is interactive, education-focused, and includes traditional tea snacks.
There is a minimum of 2 people required to book, and we can accommodate a group of up to 9 people (with discounted pricing available for groups of 4 or more). All tastings include tea snacks shared with the table, and a 15% discount on any purchases of looseleaf tea or teaware immediately after the tasting. If your private or corporate group is larger than 9, please reach out for a quote.

Virtual Tea Tastings and Classes
This option is best for corporate teams where members are working remotely in different physical locations. Each participant will receive a set of teas for tasting, with an optional gongfu brewing teaware kit add-on. Without the gongfu brewing kit, participants may use any teaware of their choice for brewing, including just a mug, and we intentionally choose teas for this format that can be flexibly brewed.
We ship anywhere within the US or abroad, and if it involves multiple time zones, we are happy to find a time that works for your whole team, even if it is outside of our regular hours. There is no maximum limit on the number of participants for virtual events.
Hands-on Chai Making Class
Step into the aromatic world of chai and learn how to craft the perfect cup from scratch. In this hands-on chai making class, participants will:
- Explore the rich history and cultural significance of chai
- Discover the benefits of spices
- Master traditional brewing techniques using the provided kit
- Taste their chai together with time for Q&A
Perfect for tea lovers, curious cooks, and anyone looking for a cozy, flavorful experience! Remote Participation Only: This experience is only suitable for participants who will be joining from their own space and device. Otherwise, check out our hybrid experiences.
